Fengjuan LIU is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Philosophy and Social Development at South China Normal University; she was once a visiting scholar at Brown University. She serves as Council Member of the German Philosophy Academic Committee, Council Member of the Kant Society, and Council Member of the Guangdong Philosophy Association. Her research focuses on German philosophy and analytic philosophy, with recent emphasis on temporal philosophy, historical philosophy, moral philosophy, and philosophy of religion within these fields. She has published over 50 academic papers in journals including Philosophical Research, World Philosophy, etc. She has authored the monographs Kant’s Causal Theory and A New Treatise on Kant’s Philosophy of History, and translated Kant on Religion Within the boundaries of Mere Reason. She also contributed to the translation of Kant’s Groundwork of the Metaphysics of Morals: A Commentary. She has managed three National Social Science Fund projects and multiple other research projects.
